Since the dawn of humanity, innovation has been the key to power, and nowhere was this more prominent than during the Cold War.

In the year 1960, two men highly experienced with the anomalous founded Venture Research Initiative. In 1962, they secured a contract with the governments of Canada and the United States to research a spatial anomaly known as the Megafault. VRI was given a plot of land within a secretive joint air force base in Val-d’Or that the two governments initially used to monitor the phenomenon in the late 40s and 50s.

It is now 1992, and VRI has grown significantly. Our initial compound has turned into the expansive Montag Research Complex. Hiring only the finest minds, we work to research the anomalous for the interest of NATO.
