Originally, all members of the Initiative Directorate were prominent members of a separate SCPF. Following a stroke of inspiration, however, both Alone and Abeilechimique teamed with one idea in mind: an SCP style game, better than any that had come before. Through many prototypes, failures and successes, the dream of Venture Research Initiative finally started to come true. After a while of development, Mushy joined, taking his role as Operations director and reforming the group's administration to prepare the game for release. VRI would not have been possible in any way without the Initiative Directors.
Hey! My name’s abeillechimique, but you can call me Albuquerque or Albert — whichever works for you. I’m an Initiative Director, which basically means I handle the big-picture admin stuff and make sure everything's running as it should. I team up with the Operations Director when we need to make big changes or shifts. On top of that, I’m also a developer, mainly focused on building and lighting — I love creating cool environments that not only work well but look great too. Don't count on me to optimize them though.
Hi, I am IAloneCommanderI, or Alone for short. As Initiative Director, I handle the more creative side of things, such as managing the Records Management Department and the Department of Technology. I also am a developer, and I mostly focus on building and atmosphere. Along with that, I almost all graphic design work for VRI, from logos to posters. While I am not a fan of administrative work, you can come to me with anything dev or lore related and I will answer it to the best of my ability without giving too much away.
Hi! I'm MrMushyyy, but feel free to call me any variation of 'Mushy' or 'MrMushy'. I don't mind. I'm the Operations Director here at VRI. What that means is that I'm the head of the administration and organisation within the group. I am not involved with development, for SCP fans, I'm your 'administrator' figure. I spend my days writing, editing and publishing documents to ensure that the the roleplay elements of VRI are maintained and that the group functions normally. I respond to all my DMs, so if you ever need anything feel free to let me know!
